Fines-Leleiwasa may be Sydney-born and Port Douglas-raised but has a deep connection with WA, especially local club Perth-Bayswater. The scrum-half moved west in 2018, winning the Nathan Sharpe Medal as the Club lifted the NRC. That was followed by a two-year stint with the ACT Brumbies, before returning to the Force in 2021 where he has since thrived winning the 2023 Members’ MVP and earning a shock 2023 World Cup call-up, debuting in a warm-up game against France. Short in stature, Fines-Leleiwasa is a strong, busy, lion-hearted half-back.
