Josh Turner

Josh "JT" Turner started his Rugby journey in New Zealand with the Te Aroha Cobras.

After moving to Sydney, he represented Manly Marlins in Sydney's Northern Beaches before earning a call-up to the Sevens side in 2018.

He made his Aussie 7s debut against Japan in Dubai and has been a regular since.

Turner featured at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and three years later was selected as a shadow player in Paris after a 2024 season hampered by injury.

Away from Rugby, Josh is a father to two daughters. After being overlooked for a contract to start the 2024/2025 season, Turner was recalled to the squad after the departure of Nathan Lawson.
