Waiaria Ellis

Waiaria Ellis (Waratah #203) is a Western Sydney product who has a bright future in Australian rugby.

Ellis, nicknamed 'Baba' is a speedy outside back who plays touch football and oztag outside of rugby commitments while she is on the rise in the Rugby Sevens space due to her footwork.

The young gun plays for the Blacktown Scorpions and in 2024 became the youngest player alongside teammate Caitlyn Halse to debut for the Waratahs aged just 16.

Ellis has also been on the national radar with the teenager touring South Africa with the Wallaroos at WXV 2 in 2024.
