The two sides have split games in 2021 throughout Super Rugby Aotearoa.
In Round Three, the Blues would dominate their first encounter at Eden Park, with flyhalf Otere Black scoring 19 points in the 39-17 victory.
The Highlanders would gain a measure of revenge as they took advantage of a red card to Alex Hodgman, claiming the 35-29 win.
The hosts had won the past four encounters before that loss, although Clarke Dermody's men have come away with the win in six of their last 10 encounters dating back to 2017.
