The Wallabies faced off against England in the second Test at Suncorp Stadium.

Wallabies coach Dave Rennie has confirmed Harry Wilson and Reece Hodge will start in the third and deciding Test against England at the SCG on July 16.

Wilson will start at blindside flanker, the position where he made his International debut in 2020, combining with captain Michael Hooper and Rob Valetini in the backrow.

His inclusion sees Rob Leota shift to the bench, with Nick Frost preferred to start at lock alongside Matt Philip.

Meanwhile, Hodge slots into the vacant fullback position, with Jordan Petaia (concussion) ruled out for the third Test after his early exit.

“Harry and Reece are both super excited to wear the Wallaby gold for the first time this year and have trained extremely well," Rennie said in a statement.

“We know we’re a much better team than how we played in Brisbane and we’ve had a good week of preparation which will allow us to put in a performance that makes Australians proud on Saturday night."

His absence opens the door for Reds flyer Suliasi Vunivalu to make his debut, selected on the bench.

"He's a hell of an athlete and so we're excited for him to get an opportunity on the weekend," Rennie believes.

"We can see him getting some reasonable minutes and hopefully stamping his authority on rugby at this level."

The Wallabies also welcome back Brumbies duo Allan Alaaalatoa (concussion) and Len Ikitau (calf) via the bench.

Alaalalatoa's return allows James Slipper to revert back to his preferred loosehead, swapping with Angus Bell as the Waratah joins Folau Fainga'a on the bench.

They are joined on the bench by Tate McDermott, who will make his first appearance of 2022 as the hosts look to close out the Ella-Mobbs Cup.

The match at the SCG has already sold out, the first time the Wallabies will play in front of a full-capacity sell-out in Australia since the 2019 Bledisloe Cup victory in Perth.

“As a squad we have an opportunity to go to Sydney and lift some silverware in a series decider and that’s something that highly motivates us," Rennie added.
