The South African has been a key part of their leadership team throughout their exclusion and eventually return to Super Rugby, helping them to a NRC title in 2019.

Stander players 89 games for the club across Super Rugby (74), World Series Rugby (7) and Global Rapid Rugby (8).

He is joined by club icon Kyle Godwin, who announced he would join French club Lyon in April.

Godwin returned to the club where he made his debut in 2020, bringing up his 100th Super Rugby game during the season.

2020 Nathan Sharpe Medal winner Fergus Lee-Warner and Argentinian international Santiago Medrano will be heading to English club Worcester Warriors after crucial stints with the Force.

Lee-Warner has been a key piece of their forward pack, leading their resurgence to Super Rugby as he went on the play 49 games for the club.

Meanwhile, Medrano joined the Force at the start of 2021, forming a formidable pack that helped them to a maiden finals campaign in 2021.

They are joined by Brad Lacey and Michael McDonald, with the pair set to leave their home clubs at the end of the year.

This comes after fellow backs Bryon Ralston and Jake McIntyre confirmed their departures.

Ralston will head to Irish club Connacht, leaving the club on a positive note after scoring the match-winner against the Hurricanes in their final regular season game.

McIntrye has been linked to French club USA Perpignan after joining the club in 2021, making 27 appearances.

Andrew Ready and Jack McGregor round out the departures, establishing themselves as stalwarts of the club.

Ready made his debut in 2019 against the World XV at HBF Park, going on to play his 50th Super Rugby appearance during the 2022 season.

As for McGregor, he departs after five years at the club, playing an intergral role in the 2019 NRC title alongside Lee-Warner, Ralston, Lacey and Stander.
