Dave Rennie has wasted no time bringing Michael Hooper back into the Wallabies side, selecting him to start against Scotland on October 30.
It will be the first time Hooper will pull on the gold jersey since the England series after missing the Rugby Championship due to personal reasons.

Hooper is joined in the back row by Jed Holloway and Rob Valetini, pushing Pete Samu back to the bench.
“We reckon he’s ready to go,” Rennie said on Hooper.
“We had a good chat to him in Sydney and we were going to leave the decision to him if he didn’t feel like he was going to be ready but he’s jumping out of his skin.
“There’s been a lot of indications over the last couple of weeks, even when we’ve been playing he’s constantly texting or watching a lot of footy so that means he’s pretty engaged.
“He’s in a good space, he’s trained well this week and is ready to get back into it.”
Rennie has also opted to recall Tate McDermott to the starting side, with the Reds scrumhalf set to start for the first time in 2022 alongside Bernard Foley.
McDermott switches with Nic White as Rennie indicates he will look to swap the pair and Gordon throughout the Spring Tour.
“We’re fortunate we have three excellent nines and keen to give (Tate) a go, he hasn’t much of a lick lately,” Rennie explained.
“He’s trained really well with the Queensland boys over the past couple of weeks and I’ve got a chance to see that first hand.
“We think he can bring something special.”
Tom Banks completes his recovery from a broken arm after being selected at fullback, pushing Andrew Kellaway to the wing.
Meanwhile, Reds outside back Jock Campbell is set to make his debut via the bench.
Campbell is joined by the returning Noah Lolesio, Matt Gibbon and Ned Hanigan as new additions to the finishers.
